When is Freddie’s Cruise-In?

Freddie’s Cruise-In is held each year on the Saturday after Labor Day as part of Vassalboro Days. In 2026, the Cruise-In is Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a rain date of Sunday, September 13.

How much does it cost?

Admission is free for vehicles and spectators.

What happens if it rains?

We plan for the following Sunday as our rain date each year. For 2026, that’s Sunday, September 13. Weather updates will be posted on the Freddie’s Cruise-In Facebook page, so check there before heading out if the weather looks questionable.

BRING YOUR RIDE

What time should I arrive with my vehicle?

The event officially starts at 9:00 am and cars usually start rolling in around 8:00 am

What kinds of vehicles are welcome?

Hot rods, rat rods, modern muscle, classics, customs, vintage cars and trucks, and other interesting vehicles. All makes and models are welcome.

Do I need to register my vehicle?

Nope. There’s no preregistration, registration or registration fee.

Is this a judged car show?

No. Freddie’s Cruise-In is a relaxed, informal cruise-in rather than a judged show.

AT THE CRUISE-IN

Can I come just to look at the cars?

Absolutely! We’d LOVE to see you, your friends, and family there! We are open to the public, spectators are welcome, and admission is free. Just make sure to bring your hotrod when its ready!

Is there food?

Yes! we have fantastic food options available for you!

Where do the proceeds go?

Proceeds from Freddie’s Cruise-In are donated to the Vassalboro Business Association Scholarship Fund, supporting local students.

Where can I get event updates?

Facebook is the fastest source for weather decisions and day-of updates. Freddie’s Cruise-In also maintains this website as the permanent home for event information, history and photo galleries.
